Dr Samira Bell leads the BHF Data Science Centre’s Kidney Data Science Catalyst.
Funded by Kidney Research UK in partnership with the BHF, the overarching aim of the Kidney Data Catalyst is to accelerate research at the interface of kidney and cardiovascular disease by facilitating data-led research.
Credentials:
Samira Bell is a Clinical Reader and Honorary Consultant Nephrologist at the University of Dundee and NHS Tayside. She is the Chair of the Scottish Renal Registry at Public Health Scotland, Co-Chair of UK Renal Health Data Network and NHS Research Scotland Renal Research Network Lead.
Her research interests focus on using routinely collected healthcare data to improve kidney health.
