Population Data Dashboard
Explore population-wide datasets available for cardiovascular research across secure UK Trusted Research Environments, including:
- NHS England Secure Data Environment (SDE)
- National Data Safe Haven (NDSH) Scotland
- SAIL Databank (Wales)
Current coverage
The dashboard provides key information about the datasets used by CVD-COVID-UK and COVID-IMPACT. We are working to expand coverage to include additional datasets available through Health Data Research UK’s Big Data for Complex Disease Driver Programme and other BHF Data Science Centre-supported initiatives.

Cohort dashboards
We are developing dashboards for consented clinical cohorts and research studies to provide researchers and cohort owners with accessible summaries of available data resources.
These dashboards will provide information such as:
- participant numbers and follow-up periods
- available data modalities (e.g. clinical, imaging, genomic, questionnaire, and linked routine health data)
- linkage availability to national datasets
- high-level completeness and coverage summaries
- supporting documentation and metadata
