Role:
Daisy’s role as Service Coordinator at the BHF Data Science Centre is to coordinate key research and operational processes that enable the Centre’s programmes to progress effectively. A core part of her role involves managing manuscript review and governance workflows, coordinating input between researchers, reviewers and internal teams, and ensuring publications meet relevant Centre and consortium requirements before progressing through review and approval.
She also contributes to the development and improvement of operational processes, guidance and ways of working across the Centre, helping to maintain effective coordination, oversight and delivery across research activities.
Credentials:
Prior to joining the BHF Data Science Centre, Daisy worked across the NHS and wider public sector in project coordination, workforce transformation and programme delivery roles. Her experience includes coordinating complex projects and operational processes, stakeholder engagement, governance and assurance reporting, process improvement, data and performance reporting, and the implementation of workforce systems across large organisations.
She holds an MSc in Health Management from City, University of London and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Reading, bringing together a strong understanding of healthcare, science and programme delivery in her work at the Centre.
