CVD-COVID-UK/COVID-IMPACT
CVD-COVID-UK/COVID-IMPACT is a major research programme coordinated by the BHF Data Science Centre. It brings together over 400 researchers from across more than 50 organisations.
The programme has enabled analysis of anonymous, linked, nationally collated healthcare datasets across the UK. The analysis explores the relationship between COVID-19 and cardiovascular disease, its impact on other health conditions and risk factors.
Big Data for Complex Disease
HDR UK’s Big Data for Complex Disease (BDCD) Driver Programme aims to improve cancer, cardiovascular disease and other complex disease prevention, diagnosis and management through whole population data analysis.
The programme is facilitating project access to a range of primary care, secondary care, and specialist disease registries, alongside mortality data, for research in each of the four nations of the UK.
